This essay book is about personal and historical failures to access the ground – both literally and metaphorically – as a source of energy and grasp its power." The resulting images are interwoven with a personal essay where Tate recounts a period when he lived in a pastoral part of Pennsylvania now inundated by the natural gas industry. Ian Atkinson, CMO at SunLife said: “The results of our biscuit poll make quite surprising reading, but I’m happy to see the Ginger Nut (a personal favourite) taking the top spot. “Fruit shortcake – can’t dunk chocolate in tea!” Howard “I love most biscuits, but chocolate digestive and ginger nuts are the best with tea for me.” Jenny ![]() “I love all biccies, but a dunked bourbon is my best.” Julie “Any biscuit that can be dunked into a cuppa at the time of drinking is the best biscuit!!” Dee ![]() The poll also discovered that dunkability is a key factor for older Brits, with many of the poll’s respondents citing ‘dunking’ as a reason for their choice of biscuit: The five that came in after Nice biscuits were Fruit Shortcakes, plain Hobnobs, Garibaldis, Fig Rolls and chocolate Hobnobs. The only chocolate biscuits in the top ten were the Chocolate Digestive (6) and Bourbon (8), and only three with ‘fillings’ made the top ten – Custard Creams, Jammy Dodgers and Bourbons. In second place was Rich Tea, followed by a plain Digestive and a Custard Cream, while Shortbread made up the top five. So, given older Brits are the biscuit authority, over 50s experts SunLife polled more than 450 of them to find out their biccie of choice. Anyone else who just Warlock alts find the explanation a bit hard to follow? Comment by HeatherWind on T23:30:48-05:00ĭoes this mean Mages will soon be able to rename our elementals too? Comment by xinaro on T00:01:59-05:00 So users of the default appearance should just see zero change, yeah? After unlocking the appearance when you change to it it should have it's previous name from before the patch? You log out with a glyphed demon > patch drops > you log in with an unglyphed demon sporting the default skins name(?). So I'm assuming this post is meant to indicate that your demon names aren't changing? But the wording is kinda confusing. I've had my warlock for a long while and like others have grown attached to the names. Your summoned demon appearances will be reset to the default versions and will have a different name that matches the name associated with the default pet appearance. The above changes should be testable in the next build of the Fractures in Time PTR. Thank you all for the feedback on this issue. We’re excited about the new demon customizations, and we have a lot of new colors and styles being offered for you to use, with possibly a few more coming in future updates. The red, green, blue (yellow, orange, etc.) Fel Imps will all have the same name. This solution is only applicable to any glyphed demons you were using. To be clear: this does not mean that each summoned demon color and style combination has its own unique name now. This should be the case for any previous glyphed appearances you were using. When finished at the Barber Shop, any previously glyphed or default demon appearances that you’re applying will either use the demon’s previously saved names, or if it is your first time using this appearance, a random new demon name. Once unlocked, you can go to the Barber Shop and change your imp’s appearance to the newly unlocked Fel Imp appearance. Once you’re logged into Fractures in Time, you can start unlocking new customizations, such as the Grimoire of the Fel Imp. When you log in for the first time, your demon may no longer be summoned, and you will have to summon them again. Once the patch is live in your region, we’re disabling several glyphs that previously were the only means of customizing your demon appearances. We’re working on a fix for this, but we want to be clear on what you can expect when the patch goes live. As several of you have noted, some of your demons have had their long-standing names lost with the new demon customization coming in Fractures in Time. ![]() ![]() ![]() Outside of input, the amount of things the Quest 2 is capable of can’t be understated. ![]() The versatility in controller input on the Quest 2 is pretty outstanding. Though the voice controls aren’t absolutely perfect, opening apps through speech works more than not. Voice controls are even available to open apps quickly. Some games can even be controlled with Xbox or PlayStation controllers alongside mouse and keyboard. The recent Hand Tracking 2.0 updated further enhanced these capabilities with perks like better hand-to-hand movement without a break in tracking. Using just your hands for controlling games like Cubism or Unplugged: Air Guitar in addition to apps like Virtual Desktop is a technological leap that simply has to be experienced. Taking things even further is how well hand tracking has improved since the original Quest. Intuitive controllers and lots of great features Due to the four camera sensors on the headset, there’s no need to set up external sensors to start playing. And thanks to the handy passthrough cameras, you can instantly see what’s happening around you in the real world with a quick double tap of the headset (or when you step outside of your Guardian zone). Meta’s Guardian system creates a virtual playspace in your home, as it allows you to draw a border around yourself and be notified if you step outside of it. Part of what sets the Quest 2 apart from other top VR headsets is that it’s a breeze to set up, and it’s a fully stand-alone device that doesn’t require a computer. Just be mindful that the white plastic may show noticeable scuffs through wear and tear over time. Despite the light weight, the Meta Quest 2 feels durable enough to take a few bumps. Therefore, it’s best to either purchase a silicone cover or be prepared to keep a healthy supply of antibacterial wipes. Over time, prolonged sweat will have the face cushion smelling like overused gym socks that haven’t been washed. However, be warned: Playing games that feature intensive movements or exercise apps are definitely going to result in a lot of sweating. No matter how long our VR sessions, the headset never felt uncomfortable. Next to the headphone jack is a USB-C port that’s used for both charging and connecting the headset to a VR-ready desktop or laptop. Volume controls are easily accessible on the bottom right side of the headset as well. Though there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack on the left side for headphones and ability to use Bluetooth earbuds (albeit with some lag issues), the built-in speakers are more than good enough. Once you place the Quest 2 on your head, all you have to do is push the power button on the right-hand side and sign in through Facebook (more on why that’s a problem later). That extends to the stretchable fabric that feels more comfortable than the elastic-feeling strap that nearly covered the back of users’ heads on the previous model.Īll of this leads to a comfortable headset that’s actually lighter than the Quest 1 despite the increase in both power and functionality. The exterior outer shell is completely hard plastic instead of the cloth-like material of its predecessor. Buyers who require eyeglasses will be happy to know that glasses spacers come in the box as well.Ī reverse colorway from the original all-black Quest released in 2019, the all-white Meta Quest 2 does feature some aesthetic differences. Opening the package reveals the headset itself, a USB-C charging cable/brick combo, straps and Meta Touch controllers with batteries included. Out of the box, the Meta Quest 2 immediately presents a minimalistic yet accessible design. Your CNN account Log in to your CNN account ![]() ![]() ![]() 'You feel like you're shrivelling up!' ![]() ![]() The Mini 3 Pro can fly longer than most drones. (You can also purchase it without a controller for $669, but you should only do this if you already have a DJI controller.) If you're cool using the old remote that requires your smartphone, you can purchase the Mini 3 Pro for $150 less. A pretty big price, in fact: The DJI Mini 3 Pro that comes with the DJI RC costs $909. Of course, this fancy new controller comes at a price. You can fly the Mini 3 Pro and keep your smartphone in your pocket. The DJI Mini 2, their newest beginner drone model, has got to be one of the most powerful and purposeful products in their line of aerial photography and. Not only does the new remote control work flawlessly, but it also doesn't require your smartphone, which was previously needed to be attached to the top of the controller so that you could use its display, at all. And the Mini 3 Pro uses that exact same app - but DJI has taken things a step further by selling it with a fancy new remote control, which DJI calls the DJI RC, that comes with a 5.5-inch touchscreen display. When I reviewed the Mavic Air 2 almost two years ago, I said its secret weapon was the DJI Fly app that made doing everything from flying to capturing content super-easy. This DJI has a new, smartphone-independent remote control. The DJI Mini 2 excels in every department, from its confidence inspiring flight characteristics and rock-steady reliability to its plethora of in-flight safety tech and brilliant collection of. A definite nice trick for those who are mainly going to use the Mini 3 Pro for social media purposes. It's as easy as pressing a few buttons.Īdditionally, DJI gave the Mini 3 Pro a unique ability that it is calling "True Vertical Shooting." It allows the camera to turn 90 degrees, or flip vertically, so that it can capture content that's already fit for uploading to Instagram. You can simply select a subject and one of the several capturing maneuvers - which DJI calls "QuickShots" - and the drone will fly off, do a huge loop or spiral (or something else), and return with a super cinematic shot. The real beauty of the Mini 3 Pro's camera system and advanced sensors is that it gives the drone almost unbelievable photo-and-video capturing abilities. For context, the Mini 2 maxes out at 4K at 30 fps, can only shoot 12-megapixel stills - and, of course, lacks all the cool video capturing and object avoidance features listed above. ![]() This enables it to shoot 48-megapixel stills and video up to 4K at 60 fps (though 4K HDR maxes out at 30 fps). The DJI Mini 2 is more stable and less easily buffeted by the wind than the Mavic Mini so the footage looks very smooth with plenty of detail visible. ![]() At $669, you’ll easily get your value back in the number of cool drone shots you’ll get.The Mini 3 Pro boasts a camera with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor and a f/1.7 aperture. It’s more than three times lighter than the Mavic 3 and is way easier to bring with you anywhere. It’s hard to not make the comparison of the Mini 3 Pro being the younger sibling to the Mavic 3, but that’s not such a bad thing. I consider the Mini 3 Pro to be the best drone for beginners. You can even ball out and bundle the new DJI RC with it for $909, or go with the original RC-N1 controller for $759. The inclusion of obstacle detection is worth the $220 difference alone, but you also get improved photo and video quality, MasterShots, and native vertical shooting. The Mini 2 is still priced much more affordably at $449, but it’s far more worth it to spend a little extra for the Mini 3 Pro at $669. There are certainly a couple of questionable design choices, but I consider the Mini 3 Pro to be the best drone for beginners. Even unfolded, the Mini 3 Pro is still extremely compact. ![]() ![]() ![]() Download the Readiris Pro Crack from the link below. ![]() Output OCR records in a very ton of formatĮxtremely simple to utilize How to install? The blade assembly is hand wash only, but it comes off the base for fairly simple rinsing and wiping. When it comes to cleaning, the cups, lids, and rings are all dishwasher-safe. It has lots of power for crushing and pureeing, but the Nutribullet Pro 900 only has one speed setting and no real pulse mode, which means it's not great at chopping-our salsa test ended up with more of a smooth puree than a chunky dip. The blender couldn't be easier to use you lock a cup into the base, push, and twist. You also get two cup rings, two handled lip rings, two flip-top to-go lids, and a recipe book. This blender comes with two BPA-free 32-ounce blender cups, which are larger than most personal blender cups, but still work just fine with smaller batches, like an individual smoothie or serving of dip. No unpleasant chunks of ingredients wound up in the final product. The results were consistently textured and easy to drink both through a straw and from the side of the cup. It did a great job with pretty much every ingredient we threw at it, making short work of kale, blueberries, dates, frozen banana, and ice. Guaranteed. With its 900-watt motor, the NutriBullet Pro 900 is ideal for someone with a small kitchen who makes a lot of soups, sauces, and smoothies.
